How many Black slaves the US had imported? How many South American farmers are exploited by US base argicultural giants? How many illegal aliens are earning a fraction of minimum wages? You can blame businessmen to be greedy, but you are blaming lions to be carnivores.

I am not blaming you or anything specific nations. But the real problem of your arguement is that sympathy only travel as far as good wills. Once it is in conflict with self-interest and opportunity costs, every nation is greedy and selfish.

Part 1: You really haven’t a clue about our society do you? I speak Spanish fluently and the reason why I do is all the workers around me were Mexican. On the east coast it would be Guatemala, Honduras, etc.. You yourself just pointed out they are ILLEGAL so why would anyone afford them a decent wage.

4 fishabc1 January 30, 2008 at 9:23 am

Part 2: Don’t bring blacks into this seeing how that situation was over 100 years ago. Illegal immigrants in many cases have more rights than the legal residents and I have watched the rate per hour go up but the wage dropped during the influx of the illegals. I have watched legal residents lose their job because the illegal doesn’t ask for health care nor a descent wage because they can’t; they’re ILLEGAL.

5 fishabc1 January 30, 2008 at 9:26 am

Part 3: That doesn’t matter though because the illegals have figured out how to work the system. They claim 9 or 10 dependents under a fake name, social security number or both and don’t end up paying ANY taxes. There’s no refund because hardly anything is being taken out. They by no means support our economy in any major way. 60% of their income gets shipped back to their home country in fact they’re deflating the economy. There are illegal business sprouting up everywhere.

Merc: Before you make comments please research them first. You would look much more intelligent. The illegals have free health care, have a home/roof over their head, they don’t have to guard marijuana plants anymore which they did in Mexico and they have steady work. You really don’t get it do you???

Don’t pull the race card out on me Mercedes because I have a lot more hands on experience than you and that’s extremely obvious in your useless blanket statements you have most recently made. Remember these are ILLEGALS so why would anyone offer CRIMINALS basic services or benefits. If they started to pay taxes like most legals do they would soon find out they had it better when they were working the system. They are hard working, good folks but the key word is ILLEGAL.

I am not saying they should. The point is that even though we always talk about equality and fair trade, we just don’t.

9 mercedescl January 30, 2008 at 10:34 am

I support that the US should close its borders from illegal aliens and put anyone who employs IA in jail more than 10 years. If industries need cheap labour, do that legally and openly.

10 mercedescl January 30, 2008 at 10:34 am

The real issues, ironically, are not coming from illegal aliens or greedy companies. People should stop politicans and stock traders from profiting from those behaviours. Don’t just blaming issues on China, Aliens, or terrorists. They are guilty, but not as much as the origin.

Drug traffickers and gangsters are real problems now because the US has revolving door systems. Enter illegally, expel, and then come back. In the process, they recuits more in either side of the borders.

I never try to place you on the spot to answer racial discrimination or anything evil. I just felt that you are frustrating on issues, but failing to see that we are part of that evil systems, and not focusing enough on the sources.

this makes no sense..they aren’t losing the most valuable asset they own…they didn’t put a single cent down they don’t even own a fraction of the house

What a mess this country is in. Homes are foreclosing, gas is $4 a gallon. The quality of life is going down the drain.

Federal reserve, cfr, congress, senate, president, bankers, election year, political donors. Don’t be fooled the rich will make plenty off from the fire sale, that donate to your elected officials. The hearing nothing but a smoke, clock, and mirrors of what they will only really will.. Remember the WMD’s of Iraq. We are all SOL..

Pay your bills or get out.

“most valuable asset”? The bank (or whoever bought your debt) owns your house until you pay your debt. The debt is the bank’s asset. The debt is your liability.

I see dumb people.

I see people who have been deceived by predatory lenders

The newly elected President Barack Obama could enact(once he takes office)to federally mandate long term loan modification’s (interest) on behalf of all Americans with ARM Negative (sub-prime/ deferred interest) mortgage loans (the main reason for foreclosures) at a low interest rate (fixed by the Federal Reserve Bank) for 40 & 50 year’s, depending on income. Leaving it up to the bank’s to do this is akin to putting the fox in the hen house to protect them.

California’s Mortgage Foreclosure Consultant Act at Civil Code 2945.4(a): “It shall be a violation for a foreclosure consultant to:
(a) Claim, demand, charge, collect, or receive any compensation until after the foreclosure consultant has fully performed each and every service the foreclosure consultant contracted to perform or represented that he or she would perform.”

Lenders gained buyers trust placing them in a High yield Premium (highest commission for them) ARM loans showing no regard to the buyers finances or future outcome. Experienced real estate agents knowingly witness these trans actions. AIG and so on.

Those of you blaming the 1st time home buyer can obviously rebuild your own engine, build your own home, or perform your own open heart surgery. No need for you to sign or trust anybody.
