The current value of your home 2. If you are are upside down (most people are because of the drop in value) 3. Talk to your banks because as of 10/01/2008 you can refinance 90% of current value (base on a new appraisal) 4. Your new payment will be much smaller compare to right now because your new loan will be about 60% of the current loan. 5. FHA will guarantee this new type of loan.
