Foreclosure protesters maced kicked arrested Minneapolis police @ Rosemary Williams-9-11 2009

by Tony on November 29, 2009

Today Minneapolis police kicked Rosemary Williams out of her home, 35 days into the popular occupation @ 3138 Clinton Ave. Rosemary and 3 supporters were inside and she emptied her home. A handful of activists crossed the police tape; on both sides of the police line many got maced, and one was kicked, 7 arrested. What the hell was the person thinking offering a hand to lift up the chubby acorn dope? No way in hell he could have budged her without a forklift. I wonder how she got the day off of work?

Pay Your Bills… Pay Your Bills… Pay Your Bills… hahaha housing is not a human right. people have the right to live in houses they pay for.

You must STRIKE BACK the banks with home devalutions or bank runs! If enough people put up “For Sale” signs in their neighborhoods devaluing their houses, it would kick out the banks from their neighborhoods! Use financial strategy to HIT THEM BACK!! My video explains it.

*Note on pepper spray :Should you ever find yourself rinsing eyes without a medic, flush HARD with water (pour from a wide-mouth bottle only if you cn’t find anything with a squirt top) and don’t rub the eyes like the person in the video does.
Remember to ASK EVERYONE around pepper spray- “Do you have asthma?” REMOVE them from the area, they can be terribly triggered. “Are you wearing contact lenses?” TAKE THEM OUT, eyes cannot be cleaned with contacts in and the burning will continue.

So why did the officer spray the young man with mace? All he did was ask for his badge number. And are police officers required to be maintain a certain level of physical fitness? If the mace-happy officer had to chase down a fleet-footed perp, he would be out of breath in no time.

Call Sgt Jesse Garcia at 612-348-2345 and then the main precinct at 612-673-5701, and let them know that the behavior of the police officers that kicked the person while they were on the ground, and the officer that indiscriminately sprayed protesters with pepper spray, is unacceptable. These officers need to be fired. Union protection be damned. It is time for this department to send a message that criminal behavior is not allowed by the police; regardless if someone hasn’t paid their bills.

Why the covered badge numbers? These *ssholes work for us, and that number is for us to identify them. Looks like the Feds taught them well. The feds did all this crap during both Party Conventions. All we got was change of face, and it’s time to realize that we are living with a 2 party lie. This is not the CHANGE I had HOPEd for.

To all of you that are talking about how this woman was too lazy to pay her mortgage, screw you for judging someone based upon 2 minutes of video. That woman is a grandmother who has lived on that block for 55 years.

Easy for you to say “just pay your mortgage.” Try spending a day in a poor person’s shoes.

Cops be damned to hell for the bull—-! Up and Out we had the same problem back in the mid 80’s when trying to fight for housing! Rybak sucks tit off the big banks and mortgage people along with Bush who sucks the c— of those big banks and mortgage people also.

A couple of things for perspective. Rosemary had already been evicted–she returned to the house, which the courts ruled belonged to someone else–and the new owner (the bank) wanted her removed.

The cops were wearing mourning bands because they were honoring an officer who was shot and killed protecting a woman and child . His funeral was the same day.

I live on the block. Sorry to see Rosemary go. Glad the people making her a cause are gone.

15 rexboyrox September 29, 2009 at 5:32 pm

beautiful work cheers to the law enforcement

16 CognitiveDisonance October 1, 2009 at 8:20 am

law enforcement?
All I see are numerous and flagrant VIOLATIONS OF THE LAW and gross negligence on the part of officers who obviously dont deserve to be in a position of public trust.

17 randolphclare October 3, 2009 at 8:43 am

Mace should only be used where an offender presents a physical risk to officers or the public. What the morbidly obese officer did constitutes assault as it is plain to see that the protester no physical risk to anyone.

Actions such as those need to be challenged. Was that police officer charged with anything?

18 warmerup October 5, 2009 at 8:18 am

I dont think he did. But then again, whenever an officer gets outta line, the send em on vacation. They place em “Off Duty W Pay – pending the investigation” & when they’re done kissing up to him the out come usually is “Cleared of no wrong doing” Its sickening.

This is what police state look like

20 SumDoom4 October 22, 2009 at 8:27 am

These damn banks are so greedy when some 1 robs a bank and they televise it on the news I’m happy only if they get away they steal from people and let the robbers steal from them America is the worst country ever just politics rich people and bullshit

21 biped19 October 26, 2009 at 11:12 pm

Cops(pigs) = private security for the rich.

Not a testicle among them except for maybe the female cop.

22 yonskii November 11, 2009 at 11:08 am

if you actually paid attention to the video, you wouldve noticed that they werent laying on the sidewalk because they wanted to, the cops were pushing them down onto their backs and stomachs, and kicking them if they tried to get up.

23 yonskii November 11, 2009 at 11:10 am

it doesnt matter if they were mourning anyone that day. they are supposed to absolutely neutral when it comes to things like that. they arent supposed to let their emotion get in the way of logic, thats how people get killed.

24 detoth67 November 18, 2009 at 1:11 pm

I used to live in the city of Detroit and with the bad reputation Detroit has, their police are infinitely more professional and psychologically healthy than the shit that the city of Minneapolis accepts into their force.

I know professionals within the dept and they have stated they’ve seen shit they’ve never seen in any other department. Psychological disorders are commonplace in the force.

25 djdyess November 22, 2009 at 10:47 pm

The police dont want to be involved in crap like evictions but we have jobs to do unlike most of the people that are there to protest. The best way for you socially concious people to protect your fellow man is to fill out an application and join your local police force, that way you can make a real difference. You will also see that the police are just regular people, usually your neighbors, trying to do a tough job. And, you get to pepper spray dirty hippies. Its all fun stuff.
