I agree with everything revolving around the Pastor’s now and then it being like a Brand. With Seventh-Day Adventist, we don’t have that happen because it’s mandatory that an SDA church receive another pastor every 7 or so years. It helps because each pastor you get brings something new and different that helps the church greatly, For my church, 1 pastor built the church, the next paid the church off, the next grew the church and now our new pastor is renovating the church & getting ppl involved

I appreciate your message. These megachurches are personality cults focusing on the “super pastor”. In their wake they have left a staggering trail of spiritual carnage. People have lost faith and trust in ministers. They are far from following the Poor Man of Nazareth.

Jesus told people , infact he warned them that he would snuff out their lamp stand
so its no surprise these mega churches are going under

Sounds like “haterism”. It doesn’t matter about the size of the church. What matters is the message that’s being preached.

6 NotYourTypicalNegro September 22, 2009 at 11:06 am

TFlemmJ, that’s the EXACT POINT made with this video. These churches are shutting down PRECISELY because of what they teach.

I don’t care what anybody has to say about my church Without Walls International Church!! Bishop Randy White said God will deliver us from foreclosure and He did. Others have left but I stayed true to my Bishop and the church. I guess then you really know who your true christians are ~

9 NotYourTypicalNegro October 4, 2009 at 11:39 pm

FanmChokola:

1) The Christian should not be focused on “staying true” to his or her “bishop” or “pastor”. The Christian’s devotion is to Christ and Him only.

2) Now you’re saying God supposedly said he’d deliver your church from foreclosure. Well, you really don’t know WHAT God said. You just know what your “bishop” said that God said.

3) You really should examine yourself and evaluate your relationship with Christ, because you speak like many people I’ve know in cults.

10 FanmChokola October 5, 2009 at 4:47 am

Whatever, devil!! You dwell on other people’s business, what about yours.

11 NotYourTypicalNegro October 5, 2009 at 6:20 am

FanmChokola, your mind is not in a state to receive truth, and for that reason I will not argue with you. I’ve turned you over to The Holy Spirit. He will open your eyes and reveal truth to you, and you will have to make some choices as a result.

Good day to you.

Calamities come upon the church, not only because of the devil, but because of God’s judgment. The Bride WILL be made pure!

Amen, amen, and amen, brother. I have a lot of the same thoughts and ideas in my mind and spirit about mega churches. That’s why your title caught my eye. Good report. Well done. Very fair.

try organic or simple church…it will change your walk with God and your life….that is why it is the fastest growing church today…no professionals feeding you feel good sermons and guilt tripping money out of you, no overhead…give as the Holy Spirit leads you to give…this is the freedom Christ promised

I think Paula White has that plague thats goin around this country affecting white women. For some reason, they just wake up one day and they are obsessed with black men! I ve seen it over and over again, these women cant explain it, they cant describe it or understand it, but for some reason they just have to stare and obsess over black men, this is a demonic entity causing this!..its not normal!!

wow i cant believe the things im hearing people disregarding the words of scripture we should tithe and give a free will offering not for preachers to get rich but to do the work of the lord i started a church and i dont take one thin dime because the chuch needs every dollar to take care of the debts like lights gas water etc. but ive also spent alot of my own personal money to get the ministry off the ground and the lord has really blessed me for it if the people dont give the churches want

17 brothatruth November 20, 2009 at 2:47 am

needs to do when god spoke to me as a child that i would carry the gospel i didnt believe it but now its has come to pass and i was blessed prior to ever preaching with nice home cars etc…. i believe the people of god should be blessed not just pasters but the lay members as well but everyone cant handle money the word lets us know to whom much is given much is required i think we need to be more concerned about each others spiritual well being i want as a paster to be able to help

18 brothatruth November 20, 2009 at 2:52 am

in ther finaces ass well the bible says a good man leaves an inheritance for his children and his childrens children but the vision god gave me was that our church would be able to send peoples children to college feed the hungry which we are all ready doing clothe the naked even be able to provide homes and cars for people who are in need with =oout money none of these things would be possible the bible says money answerith all things but we cant make it our god god wants to bless us but we

need to live right before him serve him in spirit and truth and do good turn from evil and learn how to love one another thanks grace and peace

All have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God…even YOU! God gives people pastors after his own heart. Your Opinions on these ministries are just that, Your Opinion. Instead of dragging these leaders into the mud even more, we need to pray that God restores them (and he will) and if the people which are called by God’s name will humble themselves and pray…God will heal their land.

21 NotYourTypicalNegro November 26, 2009 at 1:31 pm

bear1ge, I don’t understand why you’re crying and responding in anger. I merely reported stories in the news. No one was dragged through the mud. If anything, it is these preachers who have dragged Christ’s name and the church through the mud with their false teaching and manipulative behavior.

Wake up.

i hate those megachurches, they breed hypocrisy

23 2besavedcom December 6, 2009 at 2:14 am

Over the years we have all been lied to by many false Religous Leaders and so called prophets. Many things we have been taught are not even in Scripture and millions have swallowed so many lies by these false leaders. If you are a truth seeker please visit the web site which is displayed in our user name and take the time to read some of the articles… You will be very shocked.
There is a great audio there for you to listen to. You will come away asking many questions.
Blessings
Thanks Ben

wow!!!!!!! this is the best video! thanks, man!!! l didn’t even know these churches were closing! good! 5 stars and a sub for ya!

btw, you’re NOT typical, are ya!?

25 manhoot December 11, 2009 at 6:12 pm

Wake up church….the prosperity gospel is false and will damn your soul to hell.
We don’t need any more prosperity pimps prostituting the word of God. We need men of unyielding faith who will get behind the sacred pulpit and preach the word without fear. Jesus said my house shall be called a house of prayer but ye have made it a den of thieves. And he cleaned the temple out and he’s gonna come back to clean it out again!
