Man, my grandmother saw my food storage and she thought I was a nutcase. I tried telling her that is a security thing. Even if things do get better, we have food stored away that we don’t have to purchase in the future. I worry about her because she lives alone and doesn’t have anything stored away. I guess I should store food enough for her!

I asked my mother if she wanted to watch a video the other day an she said, “It isn’t one of those end of the world videos is it?” :(

I still keep trying, but it’s not working very well. I have been buying more food, because I will probably need to feed them all (my parents, daughter, son-in-law,and grandson). My home is the only one that’s paid for (and the smallest..lol) but I can make room if I have to.

Man, it’s getting very scary! My neighbours; two of them had their homes foreclosed on recently, and I am letting both of them stay, until things for them get better, but it doesn’t look good at all.

We storing food and cutting back on a lot of things, like instead of buying new video games, we’re buying used one for dirt cheap.

Here in Australia, our Prime Minister has just announced that we will be in deficit this year. We have only had surplus for years so it is quite a shock. He also said that we will be in decicit for 2-3 years and our unemployment rate could rise to 7% or 8%.

The department of ‘defense’ (actually much more a department of offense) has been the major recipient of public funds in the US for decades. It can be figured out quite easily that potential candidates for a position of secretary are mostly divided in two categories:
-people who lobbied to obtain public money
-people who wished they could have lobbied.
This Obama guy is completely delusional about the nature of the US. He made promises, even a simple one like this one, that he cant uphold

15 TheCZMan February 4, 2009 at 2:46 am

not because of himself but because of the very nature of the US.

Trying to find a proper candidate for secretary of defense who has not lobbied is an near impossible mission.

Obama really needs to wake up because his delusions on the country he is now leading could cost him a lot.

The US doesnt want to change and there will be no change.

Ah something else: economic ’sciences’ have something in them telling about upward and downward linked into a cycle.
Those ’sciences’ by the way dont explain the phenomenum.
But still it is possible to make business uphill and downhill.
By the same way, I can announce that there will be a recovery and even better, that beyond that recovery, there will another major downturn.
Impressive, isnt it?

Chance favors the prepared mind! If people don’t listen, they will WTSHTF! Then, just help who you can, saying I told you so will be irrelevant.
