Well I can tell you after having worked with attorneys for 20 years that you are not going to know the laws, like the attorneys do, you are not going to have the negotiating skills, like the attorneys do, just by reading a book and filling out a couple of pieces of paper. That does not make you a loan modification expert. Here is a phone conversation I had today, October 6, 2009, with US Bank representative, Leann (California), regarding the foreclosure and auction, on October 21, 2009, of my home of 14 years in Colorado. I begged US Bank to work with me, and offered to pay them 00.00 today and 00.00 for the next 6 months, so that I may bring my default current, but Leann wanted 000.00 today. I did not initially advise Leann of the recording because the content of this call is not confidential; my foreclosure is public record.
