I’ve been hearing a lot lately about renters getting screwed by the owner going into foreclosure. Does anyone know where I can check to be sure a house I am about to rent isn’t at risk of foreclosure in the near future?

We rent out the house and live in another state. We are concerned about what the mortgage company would be able to take from us other than the house if a foreclosure happens?
For example: bank accounts, paychecks, future annuity payments, or any thing else owned?
We are not financially able to continue making payments long term but are current with payments at this time. We have also tried selling but with no luck.
We are a married couple but only one of us on the deed, if this makes any difference.

I have been unable to locate any documents regaurding a home of mine that supposedly went into foreclosure.I had a realestate person aquire me some documents that stated that the loan was paid off before foreclosure had begun. How can I find out who paid off this loan? And why are there no documents stating that it was in the foreclosure stages. I was told to get out of this home, by someone whome I thought was the bank. I believe that in this situation my ex husband was given this house because of some watts credit thing.

I’m suspicious that our house is undergoing foreclosure, but I can’t prove it. I live in the state of California, but how can I find out whether or not a house is in foreclosure, or about to enter foreclosure?

Where Can We Find Help For Foreclosures Issues? And What Is Obama Doing To Help Foreclosure Victims?
My parents recently lost their home to foreclosure and now they are planning to file for bankcrupcy. They recently went to file their taxes and they found out IRS is billing them 52,000 for abandonment even though they have tried for months asking for help from the banks. Need some advise on how i can help guide my parents to the right people to settle the foreclosures.
